Orbitvu Jewellery Photography Contest
Every year, we ask jewellers shooting on the Alphashot Micro V2 to send us their best work — then Orbitvu's team in Poland picks the winners. A look back at the entries, and the photographers behind them.
How it works
Open to every Alphashot Micro V2 customer
The contest runs once a year and is organised by Intriguity, Orbitvu's authorised distributor for the India region. It's our way of celebrating the jewellery photography our customers are producing in-house — and giving the best of it a wider audience.
- Open to all Orbitvu customers, jewellery category only.
- Entries must be shot on an Orbitvu Alphashot Micro V2.
- Winners are selected by the Orbitvu Poland team, based on multiple factors.
- Top 3 winners each receive a certificate and a prize.
- Winners are announced at IIJS, India's largest jewellery trade show.
2024 Edition
Winners announcedOur second edition drew entries from jewellers across the country, each shot entirely on their own Alphashot Micro V2 — no external retouching studio, no borrowed equipment. The ten shortlisted entries below represent the range the machine handles well: antique gold work, coloured stone pieces, and fine diamond detail, all lit and captured in-house. From these ten, three were selected as winners.
2023 Edition
Winners announcedThe inaugural edition of the contest — our first attempt at putting a number on something that's usually subjective: which shot best captures what the Alphashot Micro V2 is capable of. Ten entries made the shortlist, spanning bridal sets, loose stones, and everyday fine jewellery, and three were chosen as winners by the Orbitvu Poland team.
